Cover for my buddy Wahab Algarmi's epic tale of a ragtag team of 80's tv characters trying to save the world... one day at a time. issue #2 features punky brewster, evie from 'out of this world' and the ever popular lassie. find them at comic-con when it comes around this july. you won't regret it! in fact, you'll thank your lucky stars.

this is the first time i've ever really tried only using 4 colors for something. it was quite a challenge indeed. quite. now i know...

first attempt at the mod podging = failure
well, semi-failure. at least i know how it works now.
all mod-podge really is, is glue.
i really like how it gives the print texture since all my prints are flat.
also, i'm gonna redesign the layout after some good feedback i got.
a record's too big for my printer.

it's for my buddy ben's show at lower haters, called vinyl apocalypse.

i finally broke gta's strong grip upon all my free time and actually got some painting done.
gonna try uploading w.i.p.s for once. just to chart progress.
i don't know if it's such a good idea for one of two reasons.
usually there's something that really bugs me about the early stages and i'll delete this post.
or... i get used to it and call it done.

trying to get used to using limited colors. like only two or three. i'm used to using a lot... and blending them.

so i finished gta4. as awesome as it was, the ending was kind of underwhelming. needless to say it's still really good. my addiction level was 'serious habit'.

they gave us ceramic mugs at work for earth day. to transition away from using paper cups. so in keeping with tradition, i drew on mine.

it's inspired by kristen chau's bunny girls.

not only is her art awesome. she's a really nice person too. she threw in an awesome present when i ordered a print.

i was at kinokuniya today looking for some book i should've bought the first time i saw it, cause its gone now.

that aside, whilst there i realized a 7"x7" book with only 40 pages is hella skinny and lamez... and not worth $15 imo. so i think i need to go for the 80 pager which is more substantial and still cheaper than the 8"x10". thusly, i need to make more nonsensical pages like the above. hooray for padding the product!
